This session will discuss translational opportunities in mitochondrial biology and metabolism. Talks will include biologic studies to credential new therapeutic targets, preclinical studies with novel small  molecules and pre-clinical proof of concept studies.  This session will feature clinician scientists and translational researchers.

We have a balance of new and established investigators speaking

Based on the discussion and questions at last year's workshop, we have added a talk on fatty acid metabolism .Fatty acid metabolism was not directly addressed in the 2023 workshop, but based on the questions and discussion was clearly an area of interest from attendees. In addition, recent publications are showing an increasing importance of this source of energy metabolism for blood cancer.
